Finding User Groups
User groups are located in every state of the USA and in many other countries. Here are a couple of excellent lists of user groups that you can use to find a user group near you:
Register Your Group
In order to better serve your user group, we need some basic information about your group. Please have an officer of your group complete this registration form.
What is a User Group
User groups are organizations of personal computer users that hold monthly meetings to learn more about their personal computer. At these meetings they answer each others questions, see product presentations, and share experiences with others. Most user groups also hold smaller meetings each month called Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and training classes where more detailed information on certain uses of the computer are discussed. In addition, most user groups have a monthly newsletter and a websites to inform their members of upcoming events and to share technical information.
Our Support of User Groups
We offer the following support activities to PC user groups:
Technical Webinars: We offer live technical webinars directly to user group meetings. We can work with you to schedule a webinar in a very short timeframe if that is needed.
Evaluation Copies: We provide a free copy of our products to user groups that plan to do an evaluation of the products and write an article for their newsletter or website. Groups that complete the product evaluation in a timely manner and submit their written article to us will receive a free raffle copy of our product to give away at a future meeting.
Raffle Copies: User Groups offer special meetings, often in December, where they raffle to their members products from many vendors. We would be happy to contribute raffle copies of our Acronis products for these holiday events.
Products for Computer Labs: Many user groups have a number of computers in a computer lab that they use for training classes and other demonstration activities. We provide a very special price to user groups wanting to use multiple copies of our products on their lab computers.
For help obtaining any of these user group support services, please have an officer of your group contact Gene Barlow at email@example.com to request the support needed.
Our primary focus is to represent Acronis products to members of the user group community. If you are not a member of a computer user group, you may still purchase products from us at our great discount prices and enjoy our personal support. We would encourage you to find a user group near you and see what they may offer you in your use of computers.
