I am very anxious to make sure that all of my customers can successfully use any product they purchased from me. So, I offer my customers free technical assistance for as long as they use a product purchased from me. I spend a great deal of my time each day in replying to these technical questions.
I am an independent distributer of Acronis products and not an employee of Acronis. If you purchased your Acronis product directly from Acronis or from a retail store or store on the Internet, then you should get them to help you with your questions and not me.
If you are considering buying a product from me, then I welcome your brief questions about what functions are supported by Acronis products and how to submit your order.
I can only answer questions submitted to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please do not call me with your questions, as I cannot answer technical questions on the phone.
I try to answer all technical questions submitted by my customers as quickly as I can. However, I am only one person so, at times, the number of questions is more than one person can handle. Please have patience with me.
Please take a few minutes to read the Starter Guide I provide with each Acronis product I sell. Most likely, you will find your answer in that short document. Also, look at the FAQs and other technical articles I have available on my website.
I try to reply to all questions in 24 hours. If you have not heard back from me in one week, try submitting your question again.
My goal it to help all of my customers as quickly as possible to successfully use our products.
The following is a list of common questions that we have received from our customers. Please review this list first before submitting the same question again for me to answer.
Q: Do I need to uninstall a prior versions of an Acronis product before I install a new version of the same product?
A: If the prior version of the Acronis product is the most recent version, then you can simply install the new version on top of the prior version. The prior version will be automatically uninstalled as the new version is installed in its place. If the prior version is several years old, then it is wise to first uninstall the prior version using the Windows Control Panel uninstall program function first. Then install the new version on a system clean of the prior version of the Acronis product.
